Do not buy Christmas presents for children bday more?
Ok, I decided that my children have wayy too much, do not appreciate the majority anyway. (They are 4, 5 and 7). Therefore, I decided that for the Bdays would undertake a "special day" with just myself, for lunch and to do something that want to do (cinema, bowling, whatever). I give the floor to give them a memory instead of a gift. And for Christmas, I decided that I will only buy things they want to decorating their rooms (sets of quilts, wall decor), but no toys. Some people in my family say I am wrong not to buy toys, but I imagine that enough of those things anyway grandparents. I'd rather give them a memory that will last a lifetime than a toy to be distributed in a week. Any idea? Am I wrong?
I am the eldest of six girls, and our parents gave us a few years, toys and pieces of other years. They gave a party every two years (when I was younger, after 12 years was only milestone) - but what my mother does now is make toys or 1.2 'I' (so as the older, CD players, etc.) and then the rest are "items need '- a new bathing suit, a pair of shoes, etc. Now we're older are things like clothing, vouchers etc. But because there were so many girls were never waste our toys - there are five girls after making use of everything. I believe that experience are great for older children, but perhaps for the youngest, goes to educational toys - the way they still have fun and learn together. But otherwise, a great idea - and probably children will love decorating their rooms!

There comes a time when your child no longer a baby is decorating the nursery is simply not enough. Your child needs a place to call your own and reflects his emerging personality.
