Should I buy a mural on vinyl or cloth?

I am buying a mural for the wall of my room and I wondered if I should get vinyl or fabric. The canvas is more expensive so that is probably better suited. However, you can get one that covers the whole wall of my vinyl records or I can get one a little smaller (though still quite large) on the canvas.
