The closer to Thanksgiving is based, the more it seems that we find ourselves instinctively drawn to the kitchen to create comfort food delicious. For some of us that means get out of a dusty old book full of recipes for the perfect family. For others, it means Googling "easy recipes Thanksgiving. "To save you the trouble, we have five very good recipes here that are a delicious way to satisfy your craving for comfort food holiday.

One of the first cravings may start to feel Nag on your palate is craving for something pumpkin. This is probably a result of garbage pumpkin decorating almost all lawn in the street. So for starters, we have an easy recipe for pumpkin nut bread. The best recipe for bread is almost always at least two loaves in a batch, This means that you can eat one now and freeze one to have on hand in case company stops by.

Famous Pumpkin Nut Bread

Ingredients: 1 cup melted butter 4 eggs 1 can (14-1/2 oz) pumpkin 1 / 2 tsp. 2 tsp salt. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon cloves smell of earth. ground nutmeg 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2-3/4 cups flour 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter. Add eggs and pumpkin. Beat well. Add sugar, baking soda and powder, and spices. Beat well until you remove all lumps. Add the flour. Beat well. Add the walnuts and mix. Spoon into 2 greased bread pans. Bake for 1 hour. Test with a toothpick to ensure loaves are ready.

The next item on our list of Thanksgiving dishes is the ever famous cheese ball. This particular point is usually present in most Thanksgiving games, but that does not mean you have to wait until late November to revive this easy snack!

Cheese ball

Ingredients: 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese 1 (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained 1 tablespoon chopped onion 1 tablespoon chopped green pepper 1 / 4 teaspoon seasoning salt 1 cup pecans

Ingredients: 1 (40 ounce) sweet potatoes, drained 1 / 4 cup butter salt to taste 3 cups crushed corn flakes cereal 3 / 4 cup maple syrup 10 large marshmallows

Instructions: Drain the sweet potatoes and put in a large bowl. Mash potatoes with butter or margarine. Salt to taste. Pat Hand-mixing in 3-inch diameter balls. Roll in flaked corn grits and put in 9x12 inch greased baking dish. Pour maple syrup evenly over the balls. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 40 minutes. Turkey breast stuffed with cranberries

Ingredients:
2 boneless turkey breast, skinless
1 (12 ounce) package dried herb seasoned bread

Stuffing mix

1 c. nuts (chopped)
1 / 2 c. halved walnuts
2 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions: make stuffing as usual and set aside. Cut the chicken breasts open to lay flat between waxed paper and flatten with a meat tenderizer. Remove the wax paper and spread the stuffing on each breast (leaving a little space around the edges), then sprinkle with most of the dried cranberries. Add all the pecans. Starting at long side, roll the breast up like a Swiss roll. Tuck at the ends and tie it with string. You probably need about four bits of string to tie the middle and one to go along.

Place the olive oil in skillet test oven and let heat. Try to brown the meat on all sides, but still not thoroughly cooked. Place skillet in oven and bake at 350 degrees F in about an hour or until meat is white all the way through. Try not to let these too dry. Let turkey sit for 15 minutes rolls before removing the string and cut into 1 / 2 inch circles. You can decorate with the remains of berries or nuts.

Finally, we have a recipe for a major fall in time drink: apple cider! What's better than flirting with a book or a movie and a steaming cup of cider with spices? It gets better, because this simplified version spiced cider can keep your hot cider in a slow cooker for easy re-fills.

Easy Applesauce

Ingredients: 1 (64 ounce) bottle apple cider 3 sticks cinnamon 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon whole cloves whole allspice 1 / 3 cup brown sugar

Uses: In a slow cooker, combine apple cider and cinnamon. Wrap the allspice and cloves in a small piece of gauze and add to pot. Add sugar brown. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and keep warm.
