I paint murals NW Louisiana area. How can I get the word out to new communities in Shreveport Bossier?
I paint murals and children boardroom hand painted bulletins. I'd love to spread the word about my work to some of the new communities that are emerging around the Shreveport Bossier area. (as The Colony, ... etc) I have 3 small children at home, so they have a lot of money for advertising. I have painted in similar communities as far as McKinney, Texas. Another place that might seem, to see if you can post flyers in stores to fit the new parents and baby stores. Also see if you can put a leaflet in the tents of home improvement. I do not know if there are many communities that still do, but you can have a welcome wagon service in the area that can be seen whether to launch a business card or something. You can also see about making up flyers that you can put in mailboxes or slip on doorknobs throughout neighborhoods. You are absolutly right about word of mouth is the best form of advertising. You just need to shut your mouth the word. Best of luck.

Anyone who has some important ideas for the redesign of your kitchen or bathroom has a secret desire to know what others are doing. Even if they have no intention to imitate or copy ideas from others', who still wants to believe that their ideas are not too far.
The last two years have been very exciting for hand-painted tiles. The overwhelming tendency of tile murals kitchen and bathroom has been tropical fish. In the multiple-tile with their environment natural environment of corals and rocks, and accent tables just scatter around the room for effect, more people chose fishing as a design theme of any other issue.
One reason for the popularity of tropical fish as a design theme, I think, is because there are a variety of colors to any color scheme preconceived can be accommodated with some or other species, no matter what. Although blue / green is the main color, the fish can float on your natural color without distracting the rocks or brightly colored corals.
Another reason could be because the idea of hand-painted tiles for decorating a beautiful room accent comes often, a typical human way, after the basic colors have been chosen. What theme of many colors have to match the tropical fish?
They are also great as an abstract subject as well. They are so wonderful in a whimsical, cartoon-style as they are in a realistic style. Children love the fun in your bathtub and shower walls. Adults seem to like the darker, darker summaries, such as color appearance of copper weather vanes, with a green patina, a stunning mural in the kitchen!
Silhouettes fish species are very popular too. Many have a distinct profile that is easily recognizable in silhouette. Use different colors and the effect is wonderful! interspersed with silhouettes of other sea items like shells, coral, and other nautical items, and you has a one-of-a-kind theme of art in their own special space.
Believe it or not, fish, even dead, done in a realistic style, can be painted to look excellent, something like the way they look established in a market hub. It has a "French poster" look at what goes well in any country style decorated. Of course, this style works best with fish for human consumption, as opposed to tropical fish species.
There really is no end to the wonderful themes and schemes that can be created using fish as a source of base, if used food, tropical fish or hunt. Working with an artist of the industry that is open all your ideas and will create a magical space that is relentless and eternal.
I think with so many people catching fish on the subject, this is the trend hot in the coming years. Especially in all white tile walls, bright colors set off everything you want Accesorize, and these things can be changed each year and the tile will always be in a color that matches.
