The sunlight shines off the hood of my Dodge Viper, the engine roars as the car tears down a long straight. Arriving at a corner, I touch the brakes, tires squeal and I live on the barrier crash on the last lap sending the tires and body elements in all directions. Frustrating? Of course, but I am not out of the race. I'm playing Racedriver GRID, the latest installment of the new Codemasters TOCA series behind. Thanks to its handy feature called Flashback can back at a time when it still had all my tires and pointing in the same direction and try to corner again.
I played this game a lot and although not perfect this is probably the best racing game on the market to date. The realism of the tracks and cars rivals Project Gotham Racing and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, damage in the car is parallel to nothing in the series "Burnout" and the adrenaline of driving a peg above the rest.
You begin as a novice, a nobody in the racing world with a battered pileup in the garage and no money to fix it. Having spent by other teams who have enough money to repair his car and start building your empire and dominate the competition. Design your cars paint job and decals to choose to go for pole. Drinking careers will asking sponsors to put their logo on his car early in his career he will not win anything as their sponsors will pay just because they died in a hairpin. Until you've earned your stripes and big sponsors are taking an interest and pay hundreds of thousands of people to be on the podium.
You can even hire to a teammate to increase your income potential, some will ask for a lot of money to join you pay, but worth it as the best mates equipment pay for themselves before the extra profits it will receive.
As you work through your career, you have to beat the competition championships in the American muscle through the streets of San Francisco, European passenger car around the Nurburgring and Japanese Drift racing through the woods Haruna. Until the end of the season when nerves are pushed to their limits during the world famous Le Mans 24 Heures in the prestigious Circuit de la Sarthe. Fortunately it is not a 24 hour race, but you can have one if built as a custom race, but the day is dark and turn at night, making the corners were not a problem during the day, in an invisible wall, so lethal that emerges from the darkness, approaching at 260 mph.

GRID also lacks a split screen, you can still play against friends online, but can not invite them round and play together.
These faults are minor and is soon lost in the enjoyment of the rest of the game and if there was anything to go by Prologue game will remain above the rest, even if Gran Turismo 5 out in the following months. I give this game high and urge them to pick up a copy if you have an Xbox 360, PS3 or a high specification Windows PC and start burning rubber.
