Is your home ready for a makeover? Perhaps you are preparing to sell or perhaps you're tired of looking as ever. Either way, there are plenty of things you can do to cheer up your interior without spending tons of money. Here are some cheap and easy ways you can change your home environment.
1. Change wall coverings. If you have painted walls, put wallpaper. If you're bored with wallpaper, try a design template. While you can follow the instructions and make an effort to be clean, may be able to handle this kind of decorating on your own, without the expense of hiring someone to do the work for you.
2. Hang new curtains. Pleated floor-length curtains have become largely a thing of the past for those seeking more modern to decorate their windows. Try vertical blinds, valances, curtains or clamp to open the room and give it new life. Experiment with new combinations of colors and patterns that will coordinate with your furniture to give a completely different look.
3. Install some shelves. Imagine a pretty wooden platform, varnished to any texture or shade, sitting on the kitchen table. Or consider placing a corner shelf in the trophy room or trinkets. A shelf above the fireplace, which acts as a chimney, if you do not have one, add a warm viewing area for family photos or memories.
