Bird Cage
What kind of paint to repaint husband is a bird cage with age?
I mentioned that he should wear a lead-free paint, as birds chew on the cage and lead ingested, bird gets sick. I used to disagree with that. I want to know your opinion. Leaded or unleaded.
if you are I was in Oz with RUST KILL Wattel, comes in several colors and comes in spray cans or brush. I've never had any problems with the birds when using it. Leave to dry for several days then put the birds in the cage and sits with a beer or 2 and revel in a good job

Having a pet bird certainly provides a lot of fun in our daily lives. Listening to them chirp and sing a lot of fun for lovers of birds. Besides having a pet bird comes from the need to have a good quality bird cage.
Although you will find all kinds of cages made plastic for everything from bamboo, the most important aspect will always be of adequate size cage for pet birds. Here are some tips to help in the selection of the best in the birdcage.
1. Where will you keep the bird cage?
Knowing where you are from maintenance of the cage at home will help you know the size it should be. You should not keep it in direct sunlight all day or just next to a heating AC / ventilation.
2. How big is your bird?
Knowing where the cage will be in your home will let you know how big can be. Now you can select a pet bird. Parakeets, finches and canaries all can be housed in smaller cages of birds, without concern for space.
The larger birds like parrots cages require much larger than the extra space they need to move.
Why is size important? The birds do not like being in small spaces and restricted. They become unhappy when you can at least be able to spread their wings and walk around. It's no different from how would feel being locked up.
3. Buy a good quality bird cage
Instead of cheap plastic, purchase a good or steel crate. Note in mind that steel is much easier to maintain than wood, but both can provide durability and life.
Add some toys in the cage for your bird's play area. Do not forget the hangers and trays of food.
Keep these tips in mind when buying a cage and the two are very happy with results.
