Adhesive Decor
Any ideas on how to cover walls and ceilings of a host site that has restrictions?
I had to find a reception site in my small town, close to friends and family who were unwilling to travel. Also, my wedding budget has gone from $ 7500 to as low / cheap as possible (my boyfriend and I are paying for ourselves). So far, my idea of my dream wedding is outside the door. I wanted an outdoor wedding come in an unusual place, with a rustic but elegant. Now I have a wedding in the tradional church in a banquet hall. I'm trying to make the most of the decor and such. However, the only room in my small town has paneled walls ugly (I guess I have the rustic appearance of me: P). I liked the idea lighting (Christmas lights and paper lanterns) and tulle, but the site does not allow any type of adhesive / stick on the walls. Does anyone have any idea? As mentioned before you have tight budget, so I want a cheap pricetag without looking cheap.
had a similar situation to find some friends of ours and carried wooden lattice and made several giant picture frame looking pieces and placed in the open position on the wall. they were backed with white muslin articifial and flowers were skillfully woven through the network of artificial ivy to give the illusion of a garden wall lattice. painted wooden lattices and pure white frames with white paint they could get cheaper. top of the walls they had done to the network using compensation as a pure veil of tulle is concentrated in an arc in the middle. small electrical source was placed in a baby wading pool that was cleverly disguised to look like a pond and a pair of banks in the Parks sat on either side (these can be rented). ivy is found in plant and one arch was covered with ivy and flowers stood in front of the lattice. The overall effect was charm and good taste and looked like a garden outdoors.
